The original Benihana, since 1939, founded by Yunosuke Aoki. On the 1st floor is the Benihana Teppanyaki style restaurant that has been made famous globally. The 2nd floor serves a Yoshoku menu, which is a Japanese-Western style, that is traditional in Japan. The spicy Benihana Cocotte Curry, made with Sri Lankan spices, has become one of the most popular dishes for lunchtime in the Nihonbashi area.

Come here for their eye-wateringly-spicy Sri Lankan chicken curry. This is one place where they would *not* adjust the spiciness of the dish, even if requested. A bit pricy at 1,500 yen plus taxes, but an interesting experience.
